# Introduction

### First Steps

Hello! (again)👋 - It's great to have you here. Thank you for taking the time to start reading this document. This aims to make your experience with us as *smooth* as possible. If you're *new* to roleplay in general then we hope that this document provides you with the *fundamental* concepts to help you start your roleplay adventure with us!.

### Roleplay Standards

Here at Yamato.  We expect a rather *mid to high-level* of Roleplay. This means that **any** actions that you intend to carry out within the world can be *realistically* reproduced within the real world. You are **expected** to follow the rules at *all times* or to the *best* of your ability. 

Not *every* single rule will be outlined within this document but you should **always** approach your roleplay situations with common sense. The aim should be for both parties to have an enjoyable time.

### Our Statement

We aim to provide the **best** possible experience that **we** can. The ideal atmosphere that we strive for is a **friendly,** **welcoming** and **calm** environment where all players can find *something* to love and enjoy their time when playing on Yamato. Our goal is to provide a **positive** and **memorable** experience to all of our players. Our team will always strive for excellence and go above and beyond to ensure that all matters are resolved as soon as possible.

### Punishments

By joining the server you *agree* to all of the rules which are listed within this document. Members of the **Staff** or **Moderation** team will reverse the right to **warn**, **kick** and **ban** players which are caught violating the rules.

* *Breaking Server Rules*
  * 1st Offence: Formal **Warning** shall be given, indicating what rule was violated and how to proceed for the future.
  * 2nd Offence: Pulled into an Admin-'sit'. It will then be determined by the **Staff** or **Moderation** team if you should be **kicked** temporarily.
  * 3rd Offence: **Banned** from the server for 24 hours
  * 4th Offence: **Banned** for 7 days
  * 5th Offence: This will result in a **Permanent Ban**
* *Insta-Ban Offences*
  * All forms of cheating will result in a **permanent** ban. This includes but is not limited to: Spawning in weapons, teleportation, god mode, circle-glitching. 
  * Any mention of doxing another player, attempts of pulling their IP address, social engineering
  * Any threats of denial-of-service towards another player or to the server.
